Constructive discussions were held between H.E. Atif Sharif Mian and the Central Ethiopia Region Foreign Investment Promotion & Liaison Office (CER-FIPLO) on strengthening investment and trade cooperation between Pakistan and Ethiopia. 
The engagement focused on exploring investment opportunities in textiles & apparel, leather & footwear, agro-processing, pharmaceuticals, engineering industries, logistics, and software & IT services sectors that strongly align with Ethiopia’s industrialization and economic transformation priorities.
The discussion also emphasized the important role of regional institutions in facilitating investment partnerships, supporting industrial growth, and creating stronger collaboration between international investors and local stakeholders.
As one of Ethiopia’s emerging investment destinations, the Central Ethiopia Region continues to work closely with federal institutions, diplomatic partners, and the private sector to promote sustainable investment and mutually beneficial partnerships.
